Christine Marcarian is a licensed acupuncturist, licensed massage therapist, certified MELT instructor and pilates instructor.
Christine empowers her patients with services that yield effective results for long and short term changes in ones’ health and wellness. She incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to evaluate and treat each patient with an individualized focus.
Her extensive experience includes private practice, wellness centers, and hospitals. She is a credentialed provider at NYU Rusk Institute and at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital (pediatric oncology / hematology department).
Her specialties include: sports injuries, chronic pain, nervous system disorders, women’s infertility, menstrual irregularities, depression, and adjunctive therapies for children, adults and the elderly living with cancer. She also works on pre/post surgery patients, sports rehab patients using trigger point therapy, smoking cessation and weight loss.
Her education includes a BA in sociology from Queens College CUNY, manual therapy and body work training from the Swedish Institute in NYC and in Asia and a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from Tristate College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where she is on faculty.
